NATIONAL PHARMACY

Advanced Correctional Healthcare has aligned with several national correctional pharmacies to secure the best possible price for pharmaceuticals.  Our pharmacies are well versed on correctional healthcare as well as patient needs and risk associated with the delivery of prescription medications.

ACH has the ability to secure pharmaceuticals at the best possible price due to volume discounts and a solid reputation in the industry.  In addition, we strive to reduce the risk associated with the provision of pharmaceuticals by using blister packed medications along with a structured program for distribution. Our services include periodic pharmaceutical review and assessment by a Registered Pharmacist to evaluate efficiency and accuracy of the medication program.

NETWORK DISCOUNT PROVIDER PROGRAM

Advanced Correctional Healthcare has aligned with a national network discount provider to offer each and every client the benefit of established discounts with the medical providers in their community.  This program works very much like a PPO by providing the best possible price when utilizing the services of a provider in the network.

The Network Discount Provider Program assists the Sheriff and County in controlling costs while providing a discount in those states that do not have a statute allowing the Medicaid rate or direct billing to the patient.

In addition to the discounts, ACH provides verification services for all fees associated with the off-site treatment or care of inmates housed in your facility.

The verification process includes:  

1) determining the date of service;

2) financial responsibility;

3) services appropriate and     

4) applicable discounts received. 

Upon complete verification, the invoice is ready for processing.

The ACH corporate medical team and site medical director are available to assist with patient needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Our medical professionals carry cell phones for easy and immediate access and return phone messages in 15 minutes or less.

To assure a quick response each client is provided a Physician Call Schedule which includes the contact information of three medical professionals available to assist with medical needs or concerns.  This guarantees each and every client has access to a medical professional 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
