Advanced Correctional Healthcare, founded May 2002, is led by a team of professionals with 50+ years collectively of correctional healthcare experience combined with over 90 years collectively of healthcare experience in the private sector. The ACH corporate team is comprised of professionals with expertise in all aspects of healthcare, management, human resources, business development, marketing and client services. This team experience provides ACH with the tools to effectively deliver a higher standard of medical care for detainees while ensuring complete client satisfaction.

The ACH Team has experience in developing, implementing and managing successful healthcare programs in State Correctional Centers, County Jail facilities and Juvenile Detention Centers. These facilities range in size from 20 - 3,400 detainees and house a broad base inmate population. From youth to geriatric populations, county jail facilities to state correctional centers, the ACH professionals have customized programs specific to the needs of the facility as well as the population. ACH delivers a higher standard of correctional healthcare which results in improved quality care, reduction of risk to the facility, staff and patient and cost containment both now and in the future.

Advanced Correctional Healthcare understands the correctional environment and the medical concerns with the different types of populations in correctional facilities.  We understand the concerns with drugs and alcohol abuse along with the appropriate treatment and care of the addicted patient.

Our CEO, Dr. Norman Johnson is ASAM certified and very involved with the development of policies, programs and treatment plans for the addicted patient.  Dr. Johnson provides training every four months for ACH Site Medical Directors, Regional Nurse Managers and Site Nurse Managers to assure all ACH medical professionals understand the needs of the addicted patient.
