Beltrami County Jail Medical Receives 100% on MDOC Inspection

(Bemidji) – In May 2023, Beltrami County Jail in Minnesota underwent their annual inspection by the Minnesota Department of Corrections (MDOC). At the end of the audit, MDOC determined medical was in 100% compliance.

The correctional facility, which has a maximum capacity of 132 detainees, partners with Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. (ACH) to manage health care contracts. Mental health care is being provided as the client requests through Freedom Behavioral Health, Inc. (FBH). The MDOC inspection results speak to the quality of the teamwork and the work being done in the facility to ensure the compliance of standards relating to detainee care in the facility.
