Butler County Detention Facility Health Care Teams Fully Staffed

(El Dorado, Kansas) – As of January 2023, the Butler County Detention Facility medical unit is fully staffed with correctional medical professionals.

The correctional center, which houses around 230 detainees, partnered with Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. (ACH) in November of 2008. ACH has a reputation for solving problems by doing the right thing the first time.

The President and CEO of ACH, Jessica Young, stated, “100% staffed at a correctional facility is a clear indicator that jail administration and the security team are working hard to take good care of the nurses. We persevered these last 3 years with no layoffs, no pay cuts, and fulfilling our contracted staffing at over 96%. We have grown the business more than 140% over the last 12 months, and maintained a 74% full-time employee retention rate and a 95% client retention rate.”

Headquartered in Tennessee, Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. (ACH) manages contracts for the care of over 34K patients in 370+ correctional facilities across 21 states. ACH is proud to have a 95% client retention rate. ACH has a reputation for solving problems by doing the right thing the first time. In the last year, at least 52 patient lives have been saved.
