Genesee County Jail Passes MDOC Inspection

(Flint) – In March 2023, the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) conducted their annual inspection of the Genesee County Jail. After the audit, the jail was found to be upholding the appropriate standards for the health and safety of all detainees within the facility, passing the inspection.

With a max capacity of 580 detainees, the facility partners with Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. (ACH). The DOC inspection results speak to the quality of the teamwork and the work being done in the facility to ensure the compliance of standards relating to detainee care in the facility.
