Nurse Hofmann Presented DAISY Award for Extraordinary Patient Care

Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. (ACH) is proud to present Nurse Hofmann with a DAISY Award for extraordinary patient care.

The DAISY Foundation’s DAISY Award recognizes nurses “for the super-human work they do for their patients and families [of the patients] every day.” While the DAISY Award is well-known in the hospital setting, ACH partnered in 2017 as the first and only correctional health care provider to present this award to its associates. When nurses are honored with the DAISY Award, they receive an award certificate, a DAISY pin, and the Healer’s Touch sculpture. They are also featured on the DAISY Foundation’s website.

Nurse Hofmann’s nomination stated: “Hofmann is a breath of fresh air. I have been working with her for several months and have had the honor of seeing her go above and beyond for every patient she works with. She is consistent, compassionate, and dedicated to doing the little things to show each patient they are more than the sum of their mistakes. She is meticulous in her documentation and takes time with attention to detail to ensure each process is followed according to plan. Our facility is blessed to have a nurse like Nurse Hofmann who loves her job and finds great purpose in the sacrificial care and positive regard that she gives everyone.”

ACH demonstrates a steady commitment to patients, clients, and associates, and puts people over profits. ACH has received two Better Business Bureau Torch Awards for Ethics and has recently earned its tenth consecutive year of Great Place to Work certification. ACH was also honored at Music City's Community Choice Awards for having the Best Employee Recognition Program and was most recently named “Best Hospital & Health Care Business of the Year” in the Global 100 Awards.
