Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. Celebrates Success at Annual Awards Dinner

Nashville - Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. (ACH) is proud to announce the conclusion of its annual Awards Dinner. The event, attended by ACH associates and leadership, celebrated the remarkable achievements of the past year and provided a peek into exciting plans led by President and CEO Jessica Young.

Young shared important updates during the event reflecting the company’s strong dedication to its core values. One highlight of her speech was the company’s decision to end relationships with 56 facilities this year.

“As Abraham Lincoln wisely said, ‘Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm,’” mentioned President and CEO Jessica Young. “And firm we stood, trusting that our decision would lead to greater outcomes ahead.”

Young shared noteworthy progress in strengthening the nursing team at ACH. With a shortage of nurses across the country, the company has focused on hiring and retaining more Registered Nurses (RNs) to ensure alignment with state requirements. ACH demonstrates a steady commitment to the welfare of its patients and frontline workers, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing people over profits. As a result, 100% of ACH associates report they feel safe at work and 98% state their supervisors are honest and fair.

ACH has received several prestigious awards for its commitment to ethical practices in correctional healthcare. For the ninth consecutive year, the company earned the Great Place to Work certification and has also been awarded its second Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethics. Most recently, ACH was honored at Music City's Community Choice Awards for having the Best Employee Recognition Program.

During the event, three associates from ACH commemorated their five-year anniversaries with the company, while one associate celebrated a significant milestone of fifteen years. In addition, a total of 27 internal promotions were recognized.

The 2024 "Of the Year" Awards were also announced. Nine associates were recognized for their achievements and honored with a statue, cash gift, and additional PTO. These awards recognize outstanding associates who embody the spirit and values of ACH across various departments. In an exciting new announcement, Young introduced the Making Our Lives Easier (MOLE) Leadership Award for 2025. This award will recognize associates who show great leadership and a positive attitude at work.

As ACH looks ahead to the new year, Young shared the focus for 2025: “Integrity.” This means doing what is right, even if no one is watching. Young emphasized, “We are committed to making choices that prioritize people and ethical standards at every level of our organization."
